1. Get enough sleep
This is probably the most important tip on how to look fresh.
It can be super difficult to get enough sleep especially if you are super busy.
But making sleep a priority is super important in looking fresh all day.
Try starting a night routine where you slowly get ready for bed every night at the same time and stick with it, eventually it’ll become second nature and it’ll be easier to fall asleep.
2. Style your hair
Even if you got the best sleep, showered, and feel good, if your hair is a mess, then you won’t look fresh and clean.
I hate doing my hair, and don’t usually have the time, so I like using this blow dry brush once or twice a week and then do mini touch ups throughout the week.
This brush has made giving myself a blow out SO easy and it looks great every time. This way I only worry about doing my hair once or twice a week and then I touch up with a straightener in between days.

3. Stay hydrated
We all know it’s important to stay hydrated for our health, but it also helps us look good as well.

Your skin will look better, you’ll look more awake, and you’ll feel a lot better too.
So try and make a conscious effort to try and drink more water if you aren’t already.
A great way to drink more water is to make it your drink of choice instead of soda or juice.
4. Practice good posture
Posture can have a huge impact on how you look. Standing tall with good posture looks a lot better and makes you look confident.
If you have bad posture and are constantly slouching, try and be mindful of your posture throughout the day.

5. Get moving
We all know exercise is great, but sometimes it can be hard to find the time or motivation to get a work out in.
I’m a true believer in doing what you find fun. If you find it fun, you’re more likely to stick to it.

Exercise doesn’t always have to be a vigorous 1 hour workout, it can be as simple as a walk around the block on a nice day.
Try to also incorporate more movement in your day by taking the stairs if possible or parking a bit further away to get some steps on. Some people find wearing a fitness watch or step counter motivating.

Sometimes I like to use teeth whitening strips once in awhile to make my teeth a bit whiter.

Having a quick go to makeup routine can be such a great way to look put together.
You definitely don’t need to wear makeup everyday, but if you want to wear makeup and you don’t want to do full glam, then a quick makeup routine is great!
Using a bit of tinted moisturizer, a little blush, and mascara is a super quick makeup routine that looks great.
This is great to have for the days when your in a rush as well.

8. Have a good skin care routine
You don’t need to spend a ton of money on a bunch of skincare products to have good skin.
I actually find using less, but better quality products can look better than having a lot of cheaper products.
I personally find a good quality moisturizer can make ALL the difference in how your skin looks.
I love all Tatcha products but this moisturizer in particular is phenomenal! It gives the most glowy dewy look to the skin without looking greasy.
This is amazing under makeup or on no makeup days for glowing skin.

It’s also a great idea to have a couple of go to outfits in mind for days when you are in a hurry.
You can just make a mental note of these outfits, or you could physically put them aside in your closet to grab easily.
This way, even on days when you can’t be bothered to think of what to wear, you can just grab an outfit and still look fresh all day.

Choose a salad as a side instead of fries, or drink water instead of soda. Small changes can make a big impact and get you in the momentum of eating healthier.
14. Give yourself a mani/pedi
Once a week try and give yourself a super quick mani/pedi so your nails look good.
This doesn’t have to be an all out salon style mani/pedi.
Even just using a nail file to quickly shape your nails and putting on some lotion or cuticle oil, can make a HUGE difference in how healthy your nails look.
An electric nail filer is great because it makes filing your nails super fast and easy.
15. Smell good
Last but definitely not the least tip on how to look fresh and clean is to smell good.
Smelling fresh and clean automatically makes you look fresh and clean.
Even if you looked good but smelt terrible, then you wouldn’t exactly look fresh.
Try keeping a small spray in your bag for those days where you need it.
Or they have these really cool empty perfume spray bottles that you could fill with your favorite perfume and take it with you. Genius!
