I struggled for years to wake up early and one thing I found really helped was purchasing this sunrise alarm clock below. I absolutely love how it wakes me up gradually with light and nature sounds. Instead of being woken up suddenly and feeling groggy and annoyed, I wake up feeling refreshed.

2. Make Your Bed
Making your bed in the morning is a small thing that you can do that can instantly make you feel more organized.
That feeling can have a ripple effect and make you more organized throughout the day.

3. Plan Out Your Day
It wouldn’t be a post on how to be more organized without mentioning planning out your day. Planning out your day will make you way more organized and productive.
Try finding a planning method that works best for you whether that be time blocking, task batching, or a simple to do list.
If you’re like me and really dislike planning, try just writing out 3 things you’d like to accomplish that day. This is a great way to plan out what you’d like to do that day without feeling overwhelmed in the process.

4. Declutter Your Home
Decluttering my home was one of the best things I have ever done for myself. It has made me SO much more organized and happy.
Getting rid of clutter in your home makes it a million times easier to keep your space clean and tidy. You will feel way more organized and on top of things when your home is clean and clutter free.
It is also way easier to organize a space with less in it.

5. Have a Go-To Look
A go to look is an outfit, makeup, and hairstyle that you love, is quick and easy, and you know makes you look great.
This way when you don’t have much time or energy, you can quickly do your go to look and feel put together.
To do this just go through your closet and try and think of one or two outfits that you love on you. Same thing with a makeup look and hairstyle. It works best if you keep the makeup and hairstyle simple.
I found using something like a blow dry brush helps me have super cute hair quickly and easily. I use this brush at the beginning of the week to give myself a blowout and it lasts and looks amazing for a couple days. It’s amazing and has seriously changed my hair game.

6. Use a Calendar
This tip may seem like an obvious one, but using a calendar effectively can make you WAY more organized.
Whenever you make plans, put it on your calendar right away so you will always know what your week holds.
I personally love using digital calendars because of how easy they are to customize and I can check my calendar wherever I am from my phone.
Find a calendar system that works for you, whether that be a digital or paper calendar and try using it every day.

15. Deal with Email and Paper Clutter Right Away
Email and paper clutter can be super annoying to deal with and it can pile up super fast.
An organized person would not let their email or paper clutter get too out of control.
Deal with email and paper right away by taking action as soon as you receive it.
Either read the email or paper and delete it or shred it. If it’s something you will need later on then archive it or put it away for future reference.
16. Declutter Your Phone Daily
Even a decluttered phone can make us feel less organized.
Our phones can become super cluttered with photos, texts, emails, etc.
Every night try and take a couple minutes to go through your phone and delete any texts or emails you no longer need, or any photos you don’t want to keep.
